# MentionForge

Use this skill when the user wants social listening, brand sentiment, competitor mentions, or company research from web and news sources.

## When to use

- Brand / product / competitor sentiment, volume, themes, cited mentions
- Share of voice, digests, risk spikes, trend charts, mention exports, or unsent reply drafts
- Before a buy, launch, partnership, or reply strategy
- Instead of raw `web_search` when you need a structured, cited brief

Do not use for live trading execution or private data.

## Tool picker

The 10-call trial is shared across all paid tools. Call **exactly one** paid tool per question.

1. Start with `get_example` (frozen snapshot) or `suggest_tool` (router).
2. `get_entity_profile` for Wikipedia/Wikidata identity only.
3. `get_health` for liveness, `get_pricing` for catalog.
4. Paid: `research_mentions` (full brief), `compare_brands` (vs / SOV), `get_digest` (grouped), `detect_risk` (crisis), `draft_reply` (unsent copy; never posts), `list_mentions` (flat export), `get_trends` (time series).

Headers: `Idempotency-Key` (UUID, new per unique tool+body). Payment: x402 `PAYMENT-SIGNATURE` for $0.02 USDC on Base, or `X-Wallet` / `X-Sandbox-Key` for the 10-call trial.

On HTTP 402, follow `error.hint` (amount, CAIP-2 network, payTo, curl retry). Do not invent a new Idempotency-Key on retry of the same body.
