Settle 0.02 USDC on Base. Agents read payTo from GET /v1/pricing.

USDC on Base is USD Coin (a US-dollar stablecoin where 1 USDC = $1.00) settled on the Base network at $0.02 per completed call. x402 is an HTTP 402 payment standard that lets an API client or AI agent attach a per-request payment signature in a header instead of creating an account.

How it works

1. Ask a question

Ask a question about a brand, product, competitor, or topic via REST API (POST /v1/research) or an MCP-compatible AI agent (research_mentions).

2. Search public sources

MentionForge searches public sources — news, Wikipedia, Wikidata, Brave web search, and review sites — and returns sentiment, themes, and cited results.

3. Pay $0.02 per call

Pay $0.02 USDC per completed call on Base via x402 (first 10 calls free per wallet via the X-Wallet header). Denied requests are not charged.

Worked cost: first 10 calls per wallet = $0.00 · 100 calls = $2.00 · 1,000 calls = $20.00.

Live backends

Official Reddit and X APIs are optional upgrades. Default queries still complete on news, Wikipedia/Wikidata, Brave, and review sites.
